The Stölting Service Group will take over Dirk Müller Gebäudedienste GmbH, Bonn, on 1 April. Founded in 2011, the company has around 2,000 employees and generates turnover of €35 million. The service provider, which operates throughout North Rhine-Westphalia, provides building cleaning services for the private and municipal sectors, cleans retirement homes to the highest hygiene standards and provides caretaker services, winter services and personnel services.
The company had recently recorded considerable growth in sales, but its management structures had not developed adequately in parallel – keyword: shortage of skilled workers. As a result, Dirk Müller GmbH filed for insolvency in December 2023.
Stölting CEO Sebastian Mosbacher: “We will be taking on almost all 2,000 employees. With this takeover, Stölting is continuing its recent growth trajectory and consolidating its service network in North Rhine-Westphalia. This acquisition will strengthen Stölting's position in the market and secure jobs at Dirk Müller in the long term.“ The Bonn-based company will also operate under the name Stölting Service Group in future.
