As part of the nationwide „Security Management in Professional Football“ certification process, the German Football Association (DFB) regularly reviews the organisational structures in the stadiums of the professional leagues.
The locations of three clubs were of particular importance to the Stölting Service Group: FC Schalke 04, Rot-Weiss Essen and Fortuna Düsseldorf. Stölting Eventsecurity provides the security service in all three arenas.
Stölting convinces on site
Certification is carried out by DEKRA. Among other things, the focus is on organisation, management structures, processes and the practical implementation of the safety concept on match days.
A central component of the evaluation is the security service and therefore also directly our operational performance. The result is a strong signal.
Our security service fulfils the requirements of the regulations for the certification of security management in professional football in all three stadiums. The feedback was consistently positive.
Special highlight: Rot-Weiss Essen
The response from Rot-Weiss Essen is a particular success for us. Stölting Eventsecurity has only been responsible for the security service there since this season and, despite the “fresh” responsibility, was already rated very positively in the first certification process.
The scale of our responsibility becomes clear when you look at the deployment figures: if all three clubs play at the same time, around 1,700 stewards from Stölting Eventsecurity will be on duty.
Such a scale requires precise planning, resilient management structures and reliable operational implementation. And it was precisely these qualities that were once again confirmed by the successful certification.
Stölting Eventsecurity is responsible for security services at the stadiums. Tobias Leibrock, the central contact person for the division, is particularly proud of this result, especially in view of the fact that the division is currently developing dynamically and growing significantly.
