Expansion of market presence in Bavaria
The Stölting Service Group is continuing its growth course in southern Germany and is taking over the established commercial cleaning company Putzteufel from Augsburg as part of an asset deal. This strengthens the Group's presence in Bavaria and expands its regional range of commercial cleaning services.
New location in Augsburg
The takeover creates a new branch of the Stölting Service Group in Augsburg. The cleaning company Putzteufel was founded in 1989 and was previously a sole proprietorship. The previous owners Günther and Angelika Ninger will remain with the company and take over the management of the new location. They will continue to be responsible for the operational development and expansion of the branch.
Integration into the regional growth strategy
Dr Boris Westerfeld, COO of the Stölting Service Group, puts the takeover in strategic terms: „With the new location in Augsburg, we are strengthening our position in the southern German market in a targeted manner. The integration of a company that has been successful for decades emphasises our ambition to grow regionally while ensuring continuity for customers.“
Frank Forell, Managing Director Region South, also sees the transaction as an important step: „We are expanding our catchment area in Bavaria and gaining an experienced team and a well-established site management team. This increases our efficiency in the region and creates a solid basis for further growth.“
Humanity as a fixed factor
Despite the expansion and the realisation of various major projects, the focus was on people. The Stölting Foosball Cup, which was held for the first time in March 2025, was a special symbol of this. A total of 16 teams from the Stölting corporate eleven and other companies and clubs from Gelsenkirchen and the region competed against each other in a table football tournament. Together, they raised 25,000 euros for the Balthasar Youth and Children's Hospice Foundation. In addition to the good cause, the tournament provided sporting ambition, team spirit and many smiling faces.
The challenge cup remained in the company in 2025 and was won by the Stölting team consisting of CEO Sebastian Mosbacher, Pascal Hüyng (Head of Central Services) and Christoph Brauckmann (Head of Mergers & Acquisitions). It remains to be seen whether the trophy will remain in the company permanently, but one thing is certain: the Stölting Kicker Cup will enter the next round in 2026. Partners from business and professional sport are once again expected to take part on 19 June 2026.
At the end of the year, Stölting set another example with a quiet but impressive campaign: With a wish tree in the Caritas Gelsenkirchen children's home, small wishes were granted to severely traumatised children.
Continuity for customers and employees
The continuation of the business by Günther and Angelika Ninger ensures continuity for employees and customers. Günther Ninger explains: „It was crucial for us to find a partner who fits in with our corporate culture and our understanding of quality. The
The merger with Stölting offers our team and our customers stability and new perspectives.“
