Stölting expands its range: Catering strengthens its position as a comprehensive service partner

The Stölting Service Group is consistently expanding its service portfolio and is specifically extending its core business to include catering. With the merger of Feinkost Kersten, the company is strengthening its expertise in stadium and event catering in particular and is thus increasingly developing into a comprehensive service partner for event venues.

Strategic expansion in catering for stadiums and events

With the integration of Feinkost Kersten, Stölting is pursuing a clear strategic objective: in future, customers should receive comprehensive services along the entire service chain from a single source. In addition to the established areas of security services and infrastructural services, catering services are also becoming significantly more important. Feinkost Kersten brings extensive experience to the table. The company generates annual sales in the double-digit million range, employs over 1,000 people and has been successfully active in stadium and event catering for many years. Its existing portfolio includes the stadiums of MSV Duisburg, Alemannia Aachen and Rot-Weiss Essen. The company has also proven its efficiency at major international events such as the Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Stölting takes over catering in several football stadiums

The merger will lead to specific expansions in the Stölting Service Group's operating business. In future, the company will take over catering at Alemannia Aachen's stadium. The involvement with Rot-Weiss Essen will also be significantly expanded, with responsibility for catering now being added to the existing security services. At MSV Duisburg, it is planned to take over the catering until the end of the current season. With these steps, Stölting is strengthening its market position in the stadium catering sector and further expanding its presence in the event business.

Comprehensive service: security, cleaning and catering from a single source

The combination of security services, infrastructural services and catering expertise creates an integrated service model that offers stadium and event venue operators considerable advantages. Uniformly controlled processes, more efficient workflows and a central point of contact ensure a noticeable reduction in workload for the customer and at the same time enable economically optimised overall solutions.

Oliver Kersten, owner of Feinkost Kersten, sees long-term opportunities in the merger: „The integration into the Stölting Group opens up new structural opportunities and sustainable growth prospects for us. At the same time, we are ensuring continuity for employees and customers. I look forward to contributing our many years of experience in stadium and event catering and further expanding existing synergies.“

Sebastian Mosbacher, CEO of the Stölting Service Group, also emphasises the strategic importance of this step: „With the merger of Feinkost Kersten, we are taking an important step in our development. We are expanding our profile from a specialised security and cleaning service provider to a holistic service partner for event venues. By combining our expertise with professional catering, we will be able to offer our customers integrated and economically optimised overall solutions in future.“

Stölting focuses on growth in the event and stadium business

With the expansion of its catering business, the Stölting Service Group is responding to the increasing demand for comprehensive services in the event and stadium sector. At the same time, the company is sending a clear signal for further growth and a stronger positioning as an integrated service provider in the market.
