Stölting Service Group becomes Borussia Dortmund’s new Champion Partner

Long-standing partnership extended until 2032

Stölting Service Group becomes Borussia Dortmund’s new Champion Partner

Dortmund / Gelsenkirchen, 8 October 2026. The Stölting Service Group and Bundesliga football club Borussia Dortmund are stepping up their partnership, which has been in place for nine years. The long-established service provider is now a Champion Partner of BVB and has extended its partnership until 2032.

“Our partnership with BVB is characterised by trust, growth and success. The fact that we will be supporting BVB as a Champion Partner across four of our six core business areas and extending the partnership long-term until 2032 is a fantastic milestone for the whole team,“ says Sebastian Mosbacher, CEO and managing partner of Stölting Service Group GmbH.

Since 2017, Stölting has been responsible for cleaning all of Borussia Dortmund’s properties before, during and after matches or events. With its promotion to Champion Partner, the group is not only expanding its on-site collaboration but also its sponsorship of the Bundesliga club. In future, Stölting will take on services in the areas of security, technical support and catering, in addition to cleaning.

One partner. One stadium. One region.

On Bundesliga match days, the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK is usually sold out, with 81,365 spectators. It is precisely at such times that smooth operations and the highest standards behind the scenes at Germany’s largest stadium are essential. „For just under nine years, the Stölting Service Group has been an important and reliable partner of BVB. On match days, the Stölting team impresses with its great flexibility, well-rehearsed procedures and high quality. We are delighted that Stölting will be further expanding its commitment as a new Champion Partner in future and that, together, we will be future-proofing our matchday organisation at all our venues until 2032,“ says Carsten Cramer, Chairman of the Management Board of Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA. Dr Christian Hockenjos, Director of Organisation & Managing Director of BVB Stadionmanagement GmbH, adds: „In Stölting, we have a partner we can rely on, who reacts quickly and whose processes work effectively. It is therefore a logical step that we will be expanding our collaboration in the areas of cleaning, security, technology and catering in future. If these four areas are integrated even more closely, we will be able to coordinate better, work more efficiently and ensure high quality at all our venues.“

A strong partnership between equals
Patrick Engel, Managing Director of Stölting GmbH Reinigung und Service in Dortmund, also emphasises this vote of confidence and the partnership that has developed over time: “Our collaboration with Borussia Dortmund has grown over many years on the basis of mutual trust and communication as equals. What began in 2017 with cleaning has now, at the very latest, developed into a landmark chapter. The fact that we will be able to support BVB in future with four of our core areas of expertise is a clear sign of recognition of our capabilities. We look forward with great enthusiasm to the next six years as a Champion Partner alongside BVB.“

Whether it’s elite sport or business – a partner for all service areas

The new partnership brings clear benefits to Borussia Dortmund’s operational organisation, as – particularly during home matches – countless infrastructure services must work together seamlessly. With this expanded partnership, Stölting is consolidating its position as a leading building services provider in professional sport. For the company, however, the expansion of its services and its promotion to “Champion Partner” of BVB represent more than ‘just’ a sporting commitment: The seamless integration of relevant services across various areas of building management is a forward-looking strategy that is already being implemented for industrial, commercial and property clients throughout Germany and Austria, and is set to be further intensified. As a multi-service provider in infrastructural building management, Stölting is once again demonstrating with this move how the services of the future will operate.
