Out and about at ZOOM Erlebniswelt with Stölting employee Heike Boch
„Without us, many companies would be in dire straits“ is the motto of the Stölting Service Group in the Gelsenkirchen economic campaign „Mit uns wird's was“ (With us, things will work out). Stölting not only keeps schools and office buildings clean, but also the ZOOM Erlebniswelt.
„I travel around the world several times a day – who else can say that about their job?“ says Heike Boch with a smile. The Alaska, Africa and Asia experience worlds, as well as the Grimberger Hof, a traditional farm with a petting zoo, are all part of her daily work routine. She refills soap dispensers, changes bin bags, cleans toilets, floors and sinks. When the weather is good and temperatures are high, the 55-year-old has to contend with the smells from the bins in the nappy-changing rooms.
„You can only do that if you hold your breath and stick your head out of the window every now and then,“ she says. But she doesn't lose her smile, because: „There are worse things.“
