A mascot called Erwin? Most people only know him as the funny miner with a huge nose, shoe size 57 and a towering height of 2.24 metres from FC Schalke 04. A little further east of Schalke, however, there is another mascot with this name. We’re talking about the 602 kg, 3.55 m-long Trabant that accompanies FSV Zwickau at their home matches. And it’s precisely this club that’s the focus of this edition of Inside.
Stölting Rail & Service GmbH has been a premium sponsor and box partner of the club since May 2025. And that’s not all. From next season onwards, our logo will also feature on the sleeves of the professional team’s shirts.
André Beuchold, Managing Director of FSV Zwickau:
„The expansion of our partnership is a clear sign and expression of mutual trust. Stölting Rail & Service GmbH has been working with us for several years now and has become an integral part of our partner network – we couldn’t do without them. We are therefore all the more delighted that this partnership is now being further expanded.“
“We are looking forward to an even closer sporting and commercial partnership with FSV Zwickau in the future. Both the club’s and the company’s management teams embody reliability and continuity – values with which we, too, identify. We are proud supporters and are looking forward to the coming season together.“, says Raphael Eimer, Managing Director of Stölting Rail & Service GmbH
Unconventional sponsorship, with the prospect of more to come
Unlike other clubs, we do not provide any operational services within the stadium. However, what is not yet the case may well become so in the future. With our significantly increased presence in the stadium and directly involved in matchday activities, we are sending a clear message to fans, spectators and partners. Stölting is impossible to miss and omnipresent. We’re looking forward to the coming season and the journey ahead together.
WE DO. SPONSORSHIP.
