Germany has a new professional cycling team!
The Stölting Service Group team will compete as a Pro Continental team in 2016.

After three successful years as operator of a Continental team, Stölting Cycling GmbH, a subsidiary of Stölting Service Group GmbH based in Gelsenkirchen, is taking the next step.
From 1 January 2016, the team will compete in the world's second-highest category of professional cycling, „Pro Continental“, under the name „Stölting Service Group“.
The Stölting Service Group team includes internationally successful and experienced professionals from Germany, such as Linus Gerdemann, Fabian Wegmann and Gerald Ciolek, as well as very promising young talents such as Lennard Kämna.
In addition to the German core, the team consists of internationally successful riders, particularly from Denmark, such as Rasmus Guldhammer, Alexander Kamp and Mads Pedersen.
The first sporting director is Jochen Hahn, who has already enjoyed great success with Stölting in recent years. Stölting will compete under a German licence. With positive race results, the team hopes to qualify for major international challenges next year.

We thought we had found a reputable sponsor and partner in Cult, with whom we wanted to move forward in the coming years. I am therefore all the more delighted that, despite Cult's withdrawal, we have managed to secure the budget for next season in such a short space of time.
The entire team worked together brilliantly during the implementation and planning stages.
With the current solution, we are also fulfilling our social responsibility towards our employees. We will seek legal clarification regarding the unlawful termination by our previous contractual partner, who does not intend to fulfil its obligations in 2016 and has put forward incomprehensible and incorrect reasons. Finally, I would like to once again express my sincere thanks to the entire team.“
